Anytime Lyn Alden speaks, it is wise to listen up. In this podcast, she and Sam Callahan give a very good primer on fiscal dominance. Lyn actually makes the statement – she is so bearish she is bullish. This blew me away, because it took me a long time to get this. Mark Moss has been preaching this for a long time. When viewing from a traditional lens, it seems like we are on the brink of a huge catastrophe. But if you think about it from a macro sense, the US is going to have to print so much money, all assets are going to skyrocket. Which is really an illusion, because what’s actually happening is the dollar is becoming worth less and less. If you value your assets with another measuring stick (rather than dollars), you can see the flaw.
